Bachelor’s Thesis Defense by History Students of Sumy State University
On June 24, 2025, the bachelor’s thesis defense of students majoring in “History and Archaeology” at Sumy State University was held in a hybrid format. The qualification papers addressed current issues in Ukrainian history, world history, and historical regional studies. During the defense, the students demonstrated a high level of knowledge and deep understanding of the topics they had researched.

On June 20, 2025, Sumy State University hosted the III Scientific and Practical Round Table titled “Modern Challenges for Migration Policy: Legal, Educational, and Historical Aspects.” The event was held within the framework of the project 101098859-EU4Migration-ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH-UA-IBA / ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH “EU Migration Policy and Law in the Context of the Sustainable Development Goals” under the Jean Monnet action of the Erasmus+ programme.

On April 17, 2025, a meeting of the Coordination Council on the Affirmation of Ukrainian National and Civic Identity was held under the auspices of the Sumy Regional Military Administration. This advisory and consultative body was established to evaluate the effectiveness of state policy in the field of national and civic identity affirmation and to facilitate coordination among relevant stakeholders in Sumy Region.
