In the Higher League of the Basketball Championship of Ukraine, among the men’s teams, the National Team of Sumy Oblast–BC Sumy State University is competing. Vyacheslav Kiktev, a history student, plays in this team. To date, he has a significant number of achievements – the champion of Ukraine among the teams of the Youth League 2023, the bronze medalist of the All-Ukrainian Universiade 2023, the silver medalist of the final of the 3×3 Cup of Ukraine 2023, the silver medalist of the 1st group stage of the Higher League 2023.
Currently, Vyacheslav Kiktev’s team is in 3rd place in the Championship of Ukraine among the teams of the Higher League.
