On January 23, 2024, a meeting of the Advisory Council on Cultural Heritage Protection at the Department of Culture, Tourism and Religions of the Sumy Regional Military Administration was held, which was attended by members of the Advisory Council on Cultural Heritage Protection at the Department of Town Planning and Architecture of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
Serhii Degtyarev, doctor of historical sciences, professor, head of the history department of Sumy State University, took part in this meeting. At the meeting of the Advisory Council chaired by the deputy director of the department – the head of the culture department of the DKTR of Sumy Oblast, Yevhen Balenko, the scientific and project documentation “Historical-architectural reference plan and monument protection zones of the city of Vorozhba, Sumy district, Sumy region” was considered. Based on the results of the discussion, it was decided to finalize the project documentation taking into account the comments and submit it for approval to the authorized bodies for the protection of cultural heritage of the Sumy Regional Military Administration in the working order.
