On September 22, 2023, on the basis of the State Archives of the Sumy Region, practically oriented classes were held for first-year students of the “History and Archeology” and “Secondary Education (History)” specialties.
Head of the Department of Information and Document Use I.E. Goncharova conducted a tour of the archive for students, who got acquainted with the storage of archival documents, the conditions for storing documents and their restoration, and the specifics of the work of the archival institution.
Associate Professor of the Department of History N.V. Lobko held a lecture from the course “Special Historical Disciplines” on the topic “Genealogical sources” and a practical lesson from the course “Documentary Studies and archival studies”.
