Dr. Mateusz Kamionka, received an award from the Head of the Kyiv City State Administration, Vitalii Klychko, for his significant personal contribution to the development of the volunteer movement, strengthening the state’s defense capabilities, and active citizenship.
From the first days of the full-scale invasion, Dr. Mateusz Kamionka personally supported the Ukrainian Territorial Defense Forces, organized the provision of assistance by Polish colleagues and public activists to resolve humanitarian issues in Ukraine, and also made considerable efforts to strengthen Polish-Ukrainian friendship, development and internationalization of Ukrainian higher education and science.
