Ph.D. in History and Associate Professor of the Department of History at SumDU, N.V. Lobko, conducted a guest lecture on genealogy for students of the Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The lecture was part of the course “History and Culture of Ukraine.”
During the session, students explored the process of conducting genealogical research into their family history. N.V. Lobko also introduced the students to digitized archival documents, including metric books and civil status records, which preserve information about births, marriages, and deaths.
