Dr. Anatolii Honcharenko, Associate Professor at the Department of History of Sumy State University, presented a paper at the Third International Conference in Memory of Yu. V. Knorozov, “Ukraine–Latin America: Public Diplomacy on the Path to Mutual Understanding.”
On December 13–14, 2024, the Third International Conference in Memory of Yu. V. Knorozov, “Ukraine–Latin America: Public Diplomacy on the Path to Mutual Understanding,” was held at the Department of Modern and Contemporary History of Foreign Countries, Faculty of History, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. During this scholarly forum, Dr. Honcharenko, a Candidate of Historical Sciences and Associate Professor at Sumy State University’s Department of History, delivered a presentation entitled, “The Antilles in Dutch Colonial Policy in the 1590s–1620s.”
The conference was organized by the Department of Modern and Contemporary History of Foreign Countries at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Center for Latin American and Iberian Studies “Casa Iberoamericana,” and other partners. A collection of conference abstracts will be published following the event.
