On May 27, 2026, a guest lecture entitled “Ukrainian National Identity: History and Modernity” was delivered by Serhii Ivanovych Dehtiarov, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, and Head of the Department of History at Sumy State University, for students of Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University.
During the lecture, the participants discussed the key stages in the formation of Ukrainian national identity, the historical factors that shaped it, as well as contemporary challenges and transformations taking place in Ukrainian society today.
The event attracted considerable interest among academic staff and students of Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University and became a platform for meaningful academic dialogue, discussion of current socio-historical processes, and exchange of scholarly experience 🤝✨
