The winner of the 2nd Art and Urbanism Competition named after Hippodamus of Miletus, which was held as part of the study of the discipline “Historical Urban Studies” at Sumy State University, has been determined.
This year, the task for the contestants was to create an image that would illustrate the description based on the text of Tommaso Campanella’s utopia “The City of the Sun”.
Yuliya YAKOVENKO (group IS-11) became the winner of the competition.
Iryna ZINCHENKO (group IS-01), who created a work using the method of wood burning, received an award for her debut in a new performance technique along with the 2nd place in the competition.
Laureates will be solemnly awarded diplomas and commemorative prizes.
