On June 26-30, the II stage of the Archery Cup of Ukraine – “Cup of Honored Coach of Ukraine Bohdan Kokot” took place at the “Electron” sports base in the city of Lviv. More than 170 archers from 14 regions of Ukraine and the city of Kyiv came to Lviv to honor the memory of the outstanding coach and compete in marksmanship. This year, it is the second stage of the Archery Cup of Ukraine, where athletes will compete in the Olympic discipline at a distance of 70 meters and in block archery at a distance of 50 meters.
Svitlana Panikar, a first-year student majoring in History and Archaeology, took part in these competitions. The Sumy women’s team made it to the finals and was able to compete for bronze in the team competition. Sumy archers took fourth place in the team competition.
