On June 20, 2025, Sumy State University hosted the III Scientific and Practical Round Table titled “Modern Challenges for Migration Policy: Legal, Educational, and Historical Aspects.” The event was held within the framework of the project 101098859-EU4Migration-ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH-UA-IBA / ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH “EU Migration Policy and Law in the Context of the Sustainable Development Goals” under the Jean Monnet action of the Erasmus+ programme.
One of the speakers at the round table was Anatolii Honcharenko, Candidate of Historical Sciences and Associate Professor at the Department of History of SumDU, who delivered a presentation on “Germany’s Migration Policy During the ‘Refugee Crisis’ of 2015–2017.”
The event brought together representatives of higher education institutions, research establishments, and students.
